Devastato Talent School
Devastato Talent School is an exclusive project created by Maestro Giuseppe Devastato, designed to promote and support outstanding young pianists.
The Maestro’s most talented students will be selected to take part in the recording of an album produced by the prestigious label KNS Classical, offering them an international showcase and a springboard towards a professional career in classical music.
Pedagogical vision and future perspectives
This project is not only a recording opportunity, but represents a new pedagogical vision, opening fresh horizons for the next generation of pianists. By merging tradition (the Neapolitan School) with innovation (Devastato’s personal methodology), the programme outlines a forward-looking educational path, where technical efficiency, expressive freedom, and musical depth coexist in a complete piano-artistic training.
A unique and innovative methodological approach
At the core of this initiative lies Maestro Devastato’s revisited methodology of the Neapolitan Piano School, inherited from a centuries-old tradition and enriched with a contemporary vision. This approach — renowned for its technical efficiency and refined sound — is combined with the principles of bel canto, natural body coordination, and in-depth research on tone quality. Such a method allows pianists not only to achieve a high level of technical mastery, but also to develop a personal artistic voice capable of meeting the challenges of international stages and competitions.

How to apply
Joining the Devastato Talent School is a deliberate choice — for both the student and the Maestro.
The process begins with a simple message. There are no rigid forms or automated procedures: every application is read personally by Maestro Devastato, because every pianist is a unique case.
Here is how the process works:
1. Write and introduce yourself Send an email with your name, age, musical background, current level of study, and a brief description of your artistic goals. If you have a recording — a competition video, a recital, or even an informal performance — attach it or include a link. It is not an audition: it is an introduction.
2. Initial consultation If your profile matches the vision of the school, Maestro Devastato will contact you personally to schedule a first meeting — online or in person — to get to know each other and evaluate the path together.
3. Personalised programme Once accepted, your academic year will be planned according to your calendar, your repertoire, and your individual artistic objectives. Nothing is standardised: the programme is built around you.
4. Selection and album At the end of the cycle, the ten most outstanding pianists will be selected to participate in the recording with KNS Classical — the final step of a journey that begins, quite simply, with a message.
Are you ready to take the next step?
The Devastato Talent School accepts a maximum of ten pianists per cycle. Selection is based on artistic potential, technical level, and personal motivation.
If you believe this path is right for you, write directly to Maestro Devastato. Introduce yourself, describe your musical background, and tell us what you are looking for in your artistic development.
